Honey is sweet, rich, and aromatic which makes it perfect for cocktails. What’s not perfect is how thick it is, making it difficult to properly portion and incorporate into a yummy beverage. By mixing honey with a little water it becomes easy to measure and thinning it out will help incorporate into cold cocktails without seizing up in your shaker tin. It’s super easy to make, a great substitute for simple syrup in an array of cocktails, and stores for about a month in the fridge.
